Biopolymers and Ecodesign: A Training Day for Sustainable Industry

On October 9, 2025, the European project AMBIANCE, in collaboration with CRIT (a project partner), is organising a training day titled: "Designing a Sustainable Future: Biopolymers and Ecodesign in Industrial Practice."

The event is open to companies, start-ups, students, and individuals interested in the latest developments in sustainable materials and responsible design.

Hosted in person at the Laboratori Aperti in Modena, the event will offer an in-depth and up-to-date overview of two key areas driving the ecological transition:

Module 1 – Biopolymers
A technical and regulatory insight into bio-based and biodegradable materials, with a focus on properties, applications, and current research trends.

Module 2 – Ecodesign
A hands-on introduction to sustainable design, including design guidelines, energy and logistics assessments, and real-world case studies.

The modules will be led by two experts from Proplast, a company specialised in training and applied research on innovative materials:

  • Marta Zaccone, Technology Transfer Project Manager – Cluster & Collaborative Research

  • Maria Teresa Scrivani, R&D Project Manager – Materials Engineering Area

Coffee breaks and lunch will be provided for on-site participants.

Participation is free, but registration is required. Seats are limited.
A certificate of attendance will be issued to participants upon completion of the event.

You can register here.
