Threads of Influence in the New Bioeconomy Strategy
Last November, the European Commission launched a public consultation on pathways toward a circular and climate-neutral economy—aimed at boosting the EU’s prosperity and competitiveness within planetary boundaries—and the BIOMATTERS Cluster delivered. 🌱
Eight months after publishing its policy recommendations, the Cluster partners reviewed which proposals were reflected in the 2025 Bioeconomy Strategy. Several contributions from the Cluster have been incorporated into the document released by the European Commission and are highlighted in its updated version.
